iPhone 4 Baseband 2.10.04 Unlock Coming by March; It’s a False Rumor? [MuscleNerd Kind of Denies iOS 4.2.1 Baseband 2.10.04 Unlock Rumors That Say Some iPhone 4 Handsets Will be Unlocked Only Next Year]

The iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak tools are already out and so is the first unlock solution for iPhone 3G, 3GS and some iPhone 4 handsets. But there are plenty of people that happen to own expensive iPods, which they call locked iPhone 4 smartphones, because they have baseband 2.10.04 on board.

As you know, following the latest Ultrasn0w unlock, the iPhone Dev Team is hard at work on launching the next version of it which will unlock these new iPhone 4 units running iOS 4.2.1 with new basebands on.
A disturbing recent rumor was saying that the unlock for baseband 2.10.04 will only be available in March of next year, which would definitely not be very good news for anyone that purchased an iPhone 4 with no intention of using it with the default carrier.
MuscleNerd from the iPhone Dev Team has decided to clarify that issue via Twitter, the official communication method employed by the iPhone Dev Team. He issued a partial denial, although, his answer resembles what a politician would say when asked whether the Ultrasn0w unlock for baseband 2.10.04 is coming in March 2011:

Hopefully we’re looking at a denial there, although MuscleNerd would not mention a release date for the new Ultrasn0w version yet.
The series of tweets was started by @chpwn, available below, also an iOS hacker/developer, but since he doesn’t work on the unlock itself, according to MuscleNerd, then why would he say such a thing in the first place.

It’s easy to speculate on the matter, especially since we’re looking at all of these from outside without having any palpable information about the future of iPhone 4 unlock tools. But March 2011 is three months away and we assume the iPhone Dev Team will not wait that long until a new Ultrasn0w would come out to unlock iPhone 4 on baseband 2.10.04 especially since, by then we might see not just one iOS update rolled out but quite a few of them.

iOS Software Update is Down; Will we Get iOS 4.2?

Someone has reported to us that Apple's iOS Software update is down. Users who trying to update to update their iOS devices with iTunes gets the following message.

The iPhone software update server could not be contacted.

Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later.

So, could this be claiming that iOS 4.2 will be released today as rumored? Also there were some rumors have pegged the public release date of iOS 4.2 to be 24th November ahead of the Thanksgiving in the United States. Leave us a comment if you got this message we'll be covering these all.

FEI LAM, a 17-year old high school senior and gadget nerd, New Yorker, made $130,000 during 6 months from selling white iPhone 4s. He was buying up some white iPhone 4 parts and putting his own conversion kits together.

Everything was were till yesterday when Lam received an ominous letter.

..."I got an email from a private investigator accusing me of selling stolen goods, which I'm 100 percent sure is not the case. They are some kind of anti-counterfeit/trademark firm, which sounds ridiculous, similar to what Apple is bringing up to remove White iPhone 4 Listings on eBay. I don't know how this legal stuff works"...

Lam is looking for a lawyer and this little guy can't deal with this problem. Anyway, I think it's legal to do something like that. Good luck little kid!

FEI LAM, de 17 años de edad de la escuela secundaria superior y gadget nerd, de Nueva York, hizo $ 130.000 durante 6 meses a partir de la venta del iPhone 4 blanco. Él iba a comprar iPhones 4 y partes y creaba sus propios kits de conversión.

The Beatles come to iTunes officially, you can download digital music!

According to recent reports WSJ, the Beatles will become part of the iTunes catalog, the Apple online store.

Según los recientes informes de WSJ, los Beatles pasarán a formar parte del catálogo iTunes, la tienda en línea de Apple.
Todo parece indicar que hoy, dentro de unas horas, Apple anunciará la llegada definitiva y en exclusiva de los Beatles a la tienda en línea iTunes.
Los acuerdos a los que ha llegado Apple, Inc., Apple Corp y EMI no han sido revelados, pero marcará un hito importante en la forma en que se distribuía la música de Los Beatles.
Al igual que sucedió en el ’87, cuando Lennon y McCartney decidieron pasar tardíamente su música al CD, ahora la quería Yoko ha dado luz verde para que se distribuya la música de la legendaria banda a través del comercio electrónico en internet.
El informe indica que los derechos obtenidos por Apple para distribuir la música de iTunes serán exclusivos por un tiempo, luego se podrá distribuir los temas en otras tiendas como la de Amazon.

Un gran logro para Apple ya que son 7 años los que ha demora para poder tener a los Beatles en iTunes. Por mi parte, mañana será un día que nunca recordaré…
Creo que la mayoría ya tiene la música de Los Beatles en su iPod Touch/iPhone…
