Según los recientes informes de WSJ, los Beatles pasarán a formar parte del catálogo iTunes, la tienda en línea de Apple.
Todo parece indicar que hoy, dentro de unas horas, Apple anunciará la llegada definitiva y en exclusiva de los Beatles a la tienda en línea iTunes.
Los acuerdos a los que ha llegado Apple, Inc., Apple Corp y EMI no han sido revelados, pero marcará un hito importante en la forma en que se distribuía la música de Los Beatles.
Al igual que sucedió en el ’87, cuando Lennon y McCartney decidieron pasar tardíamente su música al CD, ahora la quería Yoko ha dado luz verde para que se distribuya la música de la legendaria banda a través del comercio electrónico en internet.
El informe indica que los derechos obtenidos por Apple para distribuir la música de iTunes serán exclusivos por un tiempo, luego se podrá distribuir los temas en otras tiendas como la de Amazon.
Un gran logro para Apple ya que son 7 años los que ha demora para poder tener a los Beatles en iTunes. Por mi parte, mañana será un día que nunca recordaré…
Creo que la mayoría ya tiene la música de Los Beatles en su iPod Touch/iPhone…
